Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to the 2008-2009 Enrichment Program at Dommerich Elementary! I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year!

The enrichment program is a differentiated curriculum that is based on your child’s special needs. We focus on areas of thinking skills (critical, creative and problem solving), personal growth, independent learning/research and communication skills.

Enrichment students will meet with me one day a week in Portable 20. We will begin our day at 9:00 after your child has checked in with their regular classroom teacher. We will go to lunch as a class and will join your child’s grade level for P.E. and specials. Your child will return to his/her homeroom class at 2:30 (or 1:30 on Wednesdays) to receive any final instructions or announcements before leaving school for the day.
