Well kids, this is your opportunity to learn a little bit about me!

I began teaching in 1988… and have been here at Dommerich Elementary for eleven years. I’ve taught both first and third grades in the past, before moving to Primary Enrichment two years ago. This is my very first web page, and it has been really exciting to learn how to make a web page and show it to all of you. Aside from learning new things on the computer… I enjoy reading, listening to music, traveling, taking pictures, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Journalism in 1987. As I was finishing my degree, I realized that even though I enjoyed Advertising and Public Relations (my major); my true passion was working with children! So, I immediately began my Master’s degree in Elementary Education at UCF, finishing in 1989. More recently, I’ve just completed the final class for my Gifted Endorsement in June, 2007! Yahoo! J

My husband and I are blessed with two amazing daughters! Katelin is 14 and is a ninth grader at the Winter Park Ninth Grade Center. She loves volleyball, listening to music, playing on the computer, shopping and talking on her cell phone. Aubrey is 11 years old, and is a seventh grader at Maitland Middle School. She just recently began focusing on volleyball as her favorite sport, too… just like her big sis. She also enjoys listening to music, talking and playing with her friends, and decorating and organizing her room.
