What is Phonemic Awareness? It is developing the ability of children to
hear and analyze sounds in their language and how they work together. Phonemic Awareness learning for children
involves analyzing how these sounds make up words and sentences. Research shows that for children to become
good readers, they need good Phonemic Awareness.
