Tallahassee Trip Talk

Nicholas Wakulla springs

I think the best thing about Wakulla springs is seeing the alligator’s and the snakes. There were turtle’s sitting on log’s sunning themselves. There were mullet jumping out of the water. When we went on the boat ride you could see the mullet swimming faster than the boat could go! Other kids named the fish speedy. Honestly I thought it was a good name for it. The water was so clear you could see the bottom. The tour guide said you could see a skeleton of a prehistoric animal if you look real close. We saw lots of different kinds of birds. I would tell you what they were called

if I could rember there names. There names were hard to remember. Before you even got on the boat you could see fish. Wakulla springs is full of life. On the way back to the dock the water was so deep you could not see the bottom. That’s when the tour guide said how much water came out of the spring. I don’t remember everything the tour guide said because it was a lot of info. When you go there I hope you have as much fun as I did when I went to Wakulla springs.

THE BUS

My favorite part of the trip to Tallahassee was the bus ride. It’s my favorite part because we got to watch movies and talk with friends. My least favorite part of the bus ride was the smell of the bathroom, it stunk. My Most Favorite part of the bus ride was having one of the biggest Mario kart tournaments ever; I mean it was the funnest thing I’ve ever done on a bus or on a field.

This was the best field trip ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ever.

Tallahassee Museum of science &                               Natural History

I liked the museum of science & natural history because the animals that we saw. Like the white squirrel it was in a black tub and kept popping up from it. Also I liked the red wolves lying out in the sun. It was fun to watch the sea otter go down the slide. I liked watching the pumas lying down in their houses too.

                              Roni Phillips Mall

On April 17th- 18th, Dommerich Elementary’s 5th grade students Went to Tallahassee, on a field trip. My favorite part of the trip was the Governors Square Mall. If you love to shop, this is the place to be. I t is big, has many store and best of all…cheap prices!!! They have stores like: Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, American eagle, Vans and Hot Topic, my personal favorites. There are two floors filled with stores ready for its merchandise to be sold. The mall is great because there are tons of stores and you don’t have to go around town looking for all of these stores when you can just go to the mall where it is safe, fun and almost everything is there. We had $20.00 to spend. I spent $15.73, mostly on earrings. Every time we past a store that sold earrings I would stop my whole group just so I could see what kind they had. Well enough about my shopping needs and more about Tallahassee! This Mall is so different from the one at home because the people that work there are mostly collage students there and they love to socialize. Which means they make sure you got what you before you pay for it.

And that is what my favorite part of Tallahassee was.

Madison - Mall

My favorite part of the trip was the mall. In the middle of the mall there was a giant water fountain (That was really cool). My favorite part of the mall was Hollister, Abercrombie, and American Eagle. I got lots and lots of stuff. First I got a Hollister bag (That was so cute), From Abercrombie I got a jacket that was white, and from American Eagle I got a tan belt and a pair of Navy blue, white, and green flip-flops. After all the stores I went to, I found a planet smoothie (I got a lemon lizard smoothie).
